Make the QR first

Enter the name and UPI ID that should appear in the recipient’s app. Add an amount only if you want every person who scans to see the same amount. Then select Create QR.

Use the WhatsApp action

On supported phones, the Share on WhatsApp action opens your share sheet with a ready payment card. On other devices, the card downloads first and WhatsApp opens with a simple message. Attach the downloaded image in the chat.

Say what the payment is for

Use a short payment note such as “July class fee” or “Invoice 1042”. The note can make the request clearer, but the recipient should still check the displayed name in their UPI app before paying.
