Keep the amount open for everyday sales

For most counters, leave the amount blank so every customer can enter the correct purchase amount in their own payment app. Use a preset amount only when every payment should be the same.

Print it where customers can scan comfortably

Choose Print for shop after creating your QR. A4 is easier to spot from a distance; A5 suits a smaller counter. Keep the printed QR flat, clean, and away from glare. Larger QR prints are usually easier to scan, but test the exact size you plan to display.

Do a real test before daily use

Use another phone to scan the printed QR, make a ₹1 test payment, check the shown recipient name, then confirm receipt in your UPI or bank app. Repeat the test if you change the UPI ID or reprint at a different size.
