Look in your payment-app profile
Open the UPI payment app you already use and tap your profile photo or account section. Look for UPI ID, Payment address, or Manage UPI IDs. It usually looks like name@bank.
Copy it instead of typing when possible
Copying your UPI ID helps avoid a small typing mistake that could be printed or shared. Paste it into the generator, then read the complete ID once more before creating the QR.
Test before repeated use
A correctly shaped UPI ID is not proof that it belongs to you. Scan the finished QR from another phone, check the recipient name, make a ₹1 test payment, and confirm that it arrived in your UPI or bank app.
Payment-app menus can change. If you cannot find the UPI ID, use that app’s official help page or support option.
